Next, you are going to want to show up for all your lessons. If you want to become a good driver, you need to make showing up for your lessons a priority. Driving school is hands-on; it is not something that you can catch up on later. You need to show up for all your driving lessons so you can learn everything you need to during the duration of your driving course.

Tip #3: Get Rid of Distractions

When it comes to your driving lessons, it is essential to get rid of distractions. You shouldn't have your smartphone where you can grab it or see it when you are driving. Turn your phone on silent for your driving lessons. In general, keeping your phone on silent when you are in the car is a good idea. You can wait to look at your apps and make calls when you are not driving.

When you have to be out on the road with your driving instructor, take advantage of the opportunity. Listen carefully to the advice they give you. After each driving lesson, sit down and write down what you learned during that lesson.
